Now the explainer: Everyone in Kavedon Kapital, Investors, Founders and Management Team alike, has taken the responsibility to build a venture model for tomorrow, today. Kavedon is an outcome focused fund, with mutually aligned interests in the short and long term, which means everybody gains from the generated prosperity without sacrificing their own unique interest.
The normal venture model is falling apart, less than 35% of Start-Up investments return capital; Circular Economics can change that paradigm and we believe we are the world’s first Venture Capital firm whose entire philosophy and ethos is designed on Circular Economics.
The truth about the current venture model: Kavedon Kapital sees a growing disconnect between Venture firms and Founders and, that the limitations of the current Venture Capital model (the linear economic model) cannot simultaneously serve all parties equally. The linear venture model creates an imbalance of unique risks for each party in the investment process. It has created a lack of relatability, perspective and therefore, experience.
After 3 years, deep research and discussions with Investors, speaking at large with Founders and Start-Ups; we have emerged with total conviction that Circular Economic design provides Venture with an offering that forges an enduring and long-term alignment for growth and prosperity.
